I just finished some excellent continuing education on smoking cessation. Here’s a link to that course:
End The Disease of Tobacco Addiction
The dental office is not the place most people think of when they want to quit smoking. Smoking affects the health of your mouth. It contributes to tooth stain, gum disease, and oral cancer. Tobacco kills half the people who use it as the manufacturer directs. Unfortunately, most dentists are not trained on how to help a patient stop smoking. However, Virginia provides a great website to help you quit.
Quit Now Virginia
Web Coaching may prove to be just as effective as working with a physician. We’ll find out in the next Cochrane report.

CEREC – a method of CAD/CAM dentistry developed by W. Mörmann and M. Brandestini at the University of Zurich in 1980 for creating dental restorations.
We provide CEREC restorations using the IPS e.max system. These are technical terms that mean we use cutting edge CAD/CAM technology to produce strong beautiful restorations for your teeth. We use our CEREC system almost everyday, and usually many times a day. We make crowns, onlays, veneers, and bridges with the CEREC system. In most cases, this means no impressions, and no temporary while waiting for a restoration to get back from the lab. If your interested in this technology, come by and see us.
